To Whom It May Concern,
I am seeking to use my Masters of Teaching in combination with my
Bachelors in Zoology in a unique educational setting with a strong focus
on environmental sustainability.
I have extensive experience in creating educational material based on
sustainability and conservation for a wide range of ages and backgrounds
through both my time working for a marine NGO in South Africa as well as
my time working alongside individuals in the Education Department at the
Royal Ontario Museum. My practicum teaching placements within the
Toronto District School Board have equipped me with an excellent working
knowledge of the Ontario Curriculum and have prepared me with a diverse
range of assessment strategies I am confidently able to implement. I am
currently in my final practicum with the Natural Science School on Toronto
Island, delivering outdoor education programs to groups of students with a
strong focus on sustainability. I feel all my educational experience makes
me an ideal candidate to assist you in the development of your programs.
I have proven my ability to collaborate with other departments within the
ROM as well as creating meaningful connections with public sectors during
my time in South Africa and I feel confident that I will be able to do the
same within any other organization. I have a solid research background
and as a published scientific author I am an individual with strong internal
motivation and organizational skills.
I appreciate your time and consideration of my application and I earnestly
hope that you will consider me for an interview.
Sincerely,
Nathalie Graham
