HACKING

Definition :
Hacking is the gaining of access(wanted or unwanted) to a computer and viewing,
copying, or creating data(leaving a trace) without the intention of destroying data
or maliciously harming the computer. This represents the Good Guys most of the
time for they are the ones who search for these exploits to prevent crackers use a
method called cracking(opposite of hacking). Hacking and hackers are commonly
mistaken to be the bad guys most of the time. Crackers are the ones who screw
things over as far as creating virus, cracks, spyware, and destroying data.
Types of hacking :
Various types of hacking are as follows.

Website hacking
Email hacking
Network hacking
Password hacking
Online banking hacking
Computer hacking
Ethical hacking

Website hacking :
hacking a website means taking control over the website from the owner to a
person who hacks the website.
Email hacking :
Email hacking is illicit access to an email account or email correspondence.
Network hacking :

it generally means gathering information about domain by using tools like telnet,
nslookup, ping, tracert, netstat, etc. over the network.
Password hacking :
Password hacking is the process of recovering secret passwords from data that has
been stored in or transmitted by a computer system.
Online banking hacking :
Unauthorized accessing bank accounts without knowing the password or without
permission of account holder is known as online banking hacking.
Ethical hacking :
An ethical hacker is a computer and network expert who attacks a security system
on behalf of its owners, seeking vulnerabilities that a malicious hacker could
exploit.
Conclusion :

Proper ethical hackers should be employed


Passwords should not be exposed to untrusted sites.
Practice should be done using exact web address.
While not using, internet should be closed.
