In between December and January I worked with my mentor who has been a landscape

architect for over 30 years. Gary Fankhauser has been a well known architect in the
Mecklenburg area for over 20 years. He helps with various products throughout the state. He
also works in surrounding states that he has his architects license in. While working with Gary I
got to experience his daily work and how architecture has changed through the years. Gary has
had to develop new skills as architecture has gone towards working on the computer instead of
the paper. Gary showed me how to use these programs on the computer and also the different
printers he has the print out his projects. He also helped me come up with a plan on my
drawings for my plan for my project.
