$8 COUNCL IELTS KEY INFORMATION ON THE IELTS TEST THE TEST FORMAT The IELTS test consists of 4 parts - listening, reading, writing and speaking, Your speaking test may be scheduled on the same day as the written test, or up to 7 days before or after the written test Information about your test registration After you have paid, you will receive an IELTS Reference Number by email. You can use this to access the Candidate Area of our online registration site, which contains information about your IELTS test registration. IDENTITY DOCUMENTS You must bring the same ID (the original, not a copy) which was used for registration to your IELTS written and speaking test. If you do not bring the same ID, you will not be allowed to take your IELTS test and your test fee will not be refunded or your test date transferred. You must contact your test centre no later than S working days before your fist test date (this may be your speaking or written test) if you know you cannot produce the same ID on the test day. You will then receive a refund of the test fee I you want to transfer your test date, you must contact us in writing more than 35 days before the date of your written test You can cancel your registration or transfer your test date once only. lt you register less than 35 days before the date of your written test you will not be eligible for refunds or transfers, except under exceptional circumstances (see next page) ‘An administration fee of SAR 210 will be charged for all refunds and transfers.Exceptional circumstances To cancel your registration or transfer your test date after five weeks (35 days) before the date of your written test, you must demonstrate that your ability to take the test has been affected by one of the following + Serious illness e.g. hospital admission or serious injury (does not include minor illnesses such as a cold) + Loss of an immediate family member + Hardship + Military service 1uma, victim of crime. victim of a traffic accident Your test centre must receive your application for cancellation or transfer of registration in writing within 5 working days of your written test date, along with evidence (ineluding sn official certifed report) of the exceptional circumstances (original documents, not copies). ‘A Request for Refund or Test Date Transfer form is available at: httpv/www-britishcouncilsa/en/examvielts, YOUR IELTS RESULTS You will receive one Test Report Form (TRF) only. You can collect your TRF from the British Council, or we can. send your TRF to you by secure courier service (courier charges apply). We will only send your TRF by courier if you request this by completing a mailing form. You can also receive your result by SMS, or via the website: https:/elts brtishcouncil.org/checkresults.aspx Sending your IELTS results to institutions We prow de up to fve electronic or hard copy TRFs to the Recognising Organisations named in your application within one month of the result date, at no additional charge (courier charges apply for hard copy TRF). (One month after your result date, you can request additional electronic or hard copy TRFs. Enquiry on Result (EOR) Ifyou did not receive the score you expected, you can apply for your test to be remarked; this is called an Enquiry on Results. You need to apply atthe centre where you booked your test no later than six weeks after the test date. You must include your original Test Report Form with your application for Enquiry on Results, You can choose which parts ofthe test you want to have re-marked, The fee for this service is SAR 500. This fee will be refunded if your score changes for any part of the test. Enquiries on Results usualy take between 6 to Bweeks Making a complaint If you want to make a suggestion or a complaint about your test day, you need to do this before you leave the test venue.
