Questionnaire/Guide for the Meeting of Mr.

Officials
1) Is it possible to have copies of signed collective agreements from
different sectors, like public and private, manufacturing and services,
small and large enterprise;
2) If possible in those files or sectors, can we have copies of Union initial
demands and if it is happening copies of Employers demands; (if the
initial one are not available their demands when they first show up in
conciliation or mediation);
3) The administrative process followed for the nomination of a conciliator
or a mediator into a file (the process of filing cases);
4) The regular steps that a conciliator or a mediator are following after
their nomination (of cases) in term of contacting parties, setting up the
first official meeting;
5) How conciliators and mediators are managing conciliation and
mediation meetings and intervening on the content of the dispute and
the future collective agreement;
6) Are conciliators and mediators intervening on matters outside of the
collective agreement like the relationship between the parties during
the life of it, grievances, etc.;
7) Do conciliators or mediators have time frame to conduct their process;
8) What process is following conciliators or mediators when there are no
compromises achievable in a short term;
9) Who conciliators or mediators are reporting to on day to day bases and
when they are conciliating and mediating a file (case);

What role or relationship the National Conciliation and Mediation
Board entertain with Conciliators and Mediators;

Are conciliators or mediators, only involved in collective
bargaining or are they also involved in individual cases like grievances;

If they are involved into individual cases, what type of cases and
process are they following and do they have time frame to respect;

On which standards, qualifications and background, new
conciliators or mediators are hired;
14)
Finally, do Conciliators and Mediators have meetings outside of
their regular duty with Unions or Employers Organisation?
