RE: Permission to Conduct Research Study

Dear Dr. Flordeliza P. Ferrer,
We, the researcher would like to request for permission to conduct a research study at
your class in trigonometry.

We are currently enrolled in Bachelor of Science Major in

Mathematics at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, Intramuros, Manila. The purpose of our

study is to know the performance of the students in trigonometry using multiple-choice and
answer response questions. It will also determine which between these two types of questions
does non-mathematics and mathematics major students will excel.
We consider your BS Mathematics and Mass Communication class in Trigonometry as
the subject of our research study and we would like to perform an examination that you may
consider as one of your quiz in the aforementioned subject.
If approval is granted, student participants will complete the examination in a classroom
during one of your regular meeting in the said classes.The examination process should take no
longer than one and a half hour.
Your approval to conduct this study will be greatly appreciated.
