Introduction Today flowers are being worn in new, different and exciting ways. You're apt to see them holding a jacket closed, or on the brim of @ hat or bill of a cap a la Hollywood celebrity. Loop a long scarf or length of ribbon through your jeans instead of a belt and pin a flower to the knot. Add a flower to the strap of a handbag, or sew a row of them around the top of @ purse. Flowers are even showing up on flip-flops, sandals and tennis shoes. Sewn to velvet or satin ribbon, a single flower makes a statement as a choker, Add to the sash of a special dress or ball gown. Change a plain V-neck sweater into something special by placing a flower at the lower V. ‘When you take your beloved pooch out, add one around his or her collar or leash. Top off the radio antenna of your car to make it easy to locate in a parking lot. Cut a circle of tulle, gather the edges, fill with potpourri, add a flower and keep your drawers smelling nice. Gift someone special with a set of satin hangers with a different flower sewn to each. Well, you get the idea ... just let your imagination flow, and I'm sure you'll come up with lots of ways to use crocheted flowers to enhance your li Best of all, think of each flower as a blueprint. You can experiment with other threads or yarns to create different sizes and looks.
