The Indian banking industry (US$ 1.22 trillion) has made outstanding advancement in last few years, even during the times when the rest of the world was struggling with financial meltdown. India's economic development and financial sector liberalization have led to a transformation of the Indian banking sector over the past two decades .So , its becomes imperative to study some of the measure players in the Banking Industry . The dissertation would consist of the detailed research on four banks namely : Axis , HDFC , State Bank of India and Citi Bank. Objective: The objective of conducting this research is to mainly to study the Major Indian banks and compare them with each other.
