Sometimes that person will tell you to keep what happened a secret. ‘They may threaten you by saying things like, “Don’t tell or you'll get in trouble,” or “Don't tell oF I'll get sent to jail.” Sometimes they may even give you presents or pay special attention to you to make you feel you should keep the touching a secret. ‘The things they say and do can make you feel very confused or scared, ®Kids who have been touched in yucky ways sometimes feel like it’s their fault. It’s important for kids to know that the kind of person who does this kind of yucky touching knows how to trick kids and make them feel confused. ®
