Production Log Role in the

Group
During week 10, we started to pick the roles we were going to be
responsible for in the group. We each chose a role for example, Farzin
chose the role of a director, Evelina chose the role of an editor and Anbish
chose the role of a cameraman. The same way, I chose the role of the
costume and props. We each focused on roles we were all good at as this
helped us to bring up our weaknesses.
During my role, I researched about what my role is really about, the
importance of it and the responsibilities it holds to achieve it successfully.
After doing this research, I was well aware of the different elements that
built this role. I feel as if my role was quite important as it is vital for the
character to wear the right costume for the right scenes as this can affect
the audiences atmosphere and mood. In addition to this, using the right
props is important as it should be suitable for the scene. For example, if
the cameraman is filming a 180 degree rule, it is important that they bring
in a tripod so that we have steady shots. Due to this, it was very
important for me to be aware of the different props that were needed for
our production.
