Tank A contains x(t) kg of salt and tank B contains y(t)kg of salt. Fresh water flows into tank A at the rate of 6 liter/min, and the brine in tank B flows out at the rate of 6 liter/min. The brine inside each tank is kept well stirred, and is pumped from tank A into tank B at the rate of 4 liter/min and from tank B into tank A at the rate of 2 liter/min. a) Determine the rate of change of the amount of salt in tank A and tank B. b) Show that the roots of the characteristic equation are - 0.025 and- 0.095 c) _Ifinitially, tank A contains pure water and tank B contains 20 kg of salt, find the amount of salt in each tank at time f.
