Discussion and Personal Interviews (Batch 2011-13)
1. Differently Abled (DA)
Candidates with marks in SSC => 60%, marks in HSC => 60%, standardized score*
in Bachelor Degree =>
1.4 and percentile position in each section of CAT => 62 were shortlisted.
No. of candidates shortlisted = 43.
2. Scheduled Tribe (ST)
ST Candidates with marks in SSC => 60%, marks in HSC => 60%, standardized
score* in Bachelor Degree => 2.1 and percentile position in each section of CAT
=> 60 were shortlisted.
No. of candidates shortlisted = 88.
3. Scheduled Caste (SC)
SC Candidates with marks in SSC => 65%, marks in HSC => 65%, standardized
score* in Bachelor Degree => 0.45 and percentile position in each section of CAT
=> 65 were shortlisted.
No. of candidates shortlisted = 184.
4. Others (OT)
Persons other than in DA, ST and SC with marks in SSC => 80, marks in HSC =>
80, standardized score* in Bachelor Degree => 1.8 and percentile position in each
section of CAT => 75 were shortlisted.
No. of candidates shortlisted = 1077.
Total Number of Candidates Shortlisted for GD & PI = 1392.

* Suppose m (%) denotes the average of the percentage marks obtained by all candidates
in a disciplinary background and s (%) denotes the standard deviation of the
corresponding percentage marks. If a person has x (%) marks, his standardized mark is
(xm)/s. These standardized marks so computed are comparable across disciplines.
