RENEWABLE ENERGY

Abstract
Renewable energy is believed to balance the role of nuclear energy and
fossil fuels. As a source of energy that can be reversed naturally by a continuous
process, it is hoped will be able to reduce dependence on the use of nuclear energy
and fossil fuel.
Global warming, pollution, and fossil fuel combustion causes worldwide
threat. This makes the greenhouse effect affecting the Earth's atmosphere. All of
these have a direct impact on the quality of the environment such as clean water
supply, public health, agricultural land, forests, and others.
Geothermal energy is a form of thermal energy generated and stored in the
earth. The heat energy has a temperature difference between the core and the
surface of the earth, controlling the continuous conduction and heat energy
formed from the core to the surface of the earth. Source of heat energy contained
in the hot water, steam, and rock with minerals and other gases that are genetically
all cant be separated in a geothermal system, and its use is required mining
process.
Utilization of geothermal energy is relatively environmentally friendly,
because it doesnt provide the greenhouse effect. It also can reduce dependence on
fuel consumption. So it can save oil reserves.
