1. Q: How did you become interested in this career?
A: Ive always had an interest in teeth. But I mainly became interested after I had braces at
around 14 years old.
2. Q: What are the aspects of this career that you like?
A: I love that I can help people in my own way and love it at the same time.
3. Q: What are the aspects of this career that you dislike?
A: Learning and adapting to the doctors needs.
4. Q: Which classes or training did you take in college?
A: I took general ed. classes and then decided to go to a vocational school to jump start a
career.
5. Q: Is there opportunity for advancement in this career field?
A: Absolutely! Each advancement requires more schooling. Which is fine by me because I
love school!
6. Q: Can you describe your daily work?
A: Daily, I respond to my patients, doctors, and RDAs needs and wants. Assisting the
doctor during each procedure. Prepping patients before the doctor enters the room.
7. Q: Which skill do you think is the most important to perform for this job?
A: Being personable with each patient and reading the patient before they even say whats
wrong.

8. Q: What do you do to keep your skills current?

A: I constantly ask questions. My doctor is also a teacher so he stays current with all thats
new.
9. Q: If you were hiring a person for this job, what would you look for?
A: I would look for personality and the persons personal drive.
10. Q: What one thing would you do differently in regards to your career?
A: Nothing, because I am still young. I like to think I am on the right track, and I plan to
further my education in the near future.
11. Q: What is your advice for someone who is interested in this field?
A: If you have good drive with a social sense of self and just so happen to love teeth then
join the dental world!
