It translates government's policies, political commitments and goals into decisions on how to raise revenues and utilize these funds in priority areas. In Pakistan, as you all know, the Federal budget is presented in June every year, followed by provincial budgets. IMA Pakistan, as customary, would be contributing its role by developing some concrete proposals, in consultation with its members, and forwarding them to the government for consideration. | would request the members, especially those well-versed in ===" taxation laws, to provide us with their valuable input for the coming budget. | also request the Branch Councils in different cities to please hold ‘Pre-Budget Seminars’ and share with us the proposals put forward by participants. The members/Branch Councils are requested to submit their proposals on prescribed format (attached) for preparing a structured document for submission to the government.
