Parreho Xxx Xxx Xxx 14-0332, IN THE MATTER OF THE REQUEST FOR AN ADVISORY ON THE RECEPTION OF APPLIGATION FOR REGISTRATION OF VOTERS DURING OVERTIME SERVICES OF FIELD PERSONNEL, This pertains to the Memorandum May 03, 2014 of EBAD Director 1 Atty. Divina E. Blas-Perez requesting an Advisory on the reception of application for registration of voters during overtime services of field personnel, with the recommending approval of Deputy Executive Director for Operations Bartolome J Sinooruz, Jr. The Memorandum of Director Blas-Perez addressed to Director Sinocruz reads: “The Department received queries frora the Field Otfices an whether or not they will conduct registration of voters, validation and updating of ‘registration records during overtime secvices either Friday or Saturday at the option of the concerned Regional Election Director pursuant to Minute Resolution No. 14-0295 dated March 26, 2014, Resolution No. 9853 entitled ‘Rules and Regulations on the Resumption of the Sysiem of Continuing Registration of Voters, Validation and Updating of Registration Records for the May 9, 2016 Synchrenized National, Local and ARMM Regional Elections and other Registration Policies’ dated February 19, 2014 fixed the registration work week from Sunday to Thursday @ 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Untike_in the previous rules and regulations promulgated by the Commission En Banc for the conduct of registration of voters, the registration period is from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Saturday, the latter being the dey where the field personnel wil render overtime services. For this reason, this Department hereby recommends that in erdiar to maximize the overtime services, an Advisory be issued by the Commission En Banc to allow the field personne! to conduct registration of voters during the day (Friday or Saturday) they are required to render overtime services Respectfully submitted for consideration.” In order to maximize the overtime services of field personnel authorized pursuant to Minute Resolution No. 14-0225, the Commission RESOLVED, as it hereby RESOLVES, to approve the recommendation of Deputy Executive DirectorFRX ND, 35255262 Page'z MR.
