Moores Law

Moores Law states that the number of transistors in a circuit (processor

speed) will double approximately every two years. This law was introduced
by Intel co-founder Gordon Moore while he was writing his paper. This law is
important because companies nowadays use it to set a benchmark of what
their chips should look like in the future. So far this law has been held up to
be true. Fast processing power has become a necessity in todays highly
competitive technology environment.
