1. Read Sections 9.1-9.4 of Hartle,

and work Problems 1,6,8, & 12 on pages 215 & 216. In problems 8 &
12 (also in 9 which is not assigned) Hartle uses the words Schwarzschild
radius when he really means Schwarzschild coordinate r.
2. Read Ch. 11.5, 11.6, 11.8 of Rindler,
and work Problem 11.3.
3. Read Ch. 17 of Hughston & Tod.
