My perspective stayed the same over the years. I wanted to play, but I
couldnt miss this opportunity, so I had to have both in my mind, and I still think
that to be true. I wouldnt have changed anything about the way I handled my
conflict.
Once I talked to the coach, I worked hard. I didnt let whatever he said get in
my way. I proved to him that I wanted to be on his team. I would come to workouts
daily, even when I was told to not come anymore. I went to every summer practice
and earned a starting spot, but I lost it once I went on my 2 week trip. I came back
though and eanred the spot back halfway through the season. My coach started to
realize how much football actually meant to me and let me finally have my spot
back.
It made me realize my argument and what I was trying to portray. I need to
set my paper up in a way that shows my NEED for football in my life, how much it
meant to me, and what Id do just for the chance to play. This papers conflict is
something that made me who I am is getting stripped away from me and the
internal problem I had with that.
