Magic Bus's vision is to bring about a paradigm shift in the way communities develop. Since 1999, the
organization has worked with approximately 140,000 children from marginalized backgrounds, providing
them with a need based and age specific programme, which addresses vital social and personal
developmental needs. Using sports (chiefly football) and the outdoors as a medium, and by providing
positive role models, children are made aware of their own abilities and of the world around them. This
awareness turns into a belief that they can make a difference, which provides them with a purpose in life, Meena Narayan 9821516346

In 1997, The Foundation launched a unique Leaders of Tomorrow Project. Under this project a one year
leadership course is conducted for slum children in schools in Mumbai. The project exposes selected IX
standard students from the underprivileged sections of our society to this specially designed programme so
that they occupy leadership positions in different professions. These children have a low self-esteem
because of the socio economic background they come from. The idea is to enhance their self esteem and
build confidence in them by providing them training in communication skills, social values, public speaking,
goal setting, time management, etc. which they would not learn in a crowded classroom or from text-books.
This training equips them with necessary attitudes and skills which will help them cope with challenges and Dr.P.N.Singh

Operation Smile India provides surgery, free of cost, to those with cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial
deformities. In India nearly 35,000 70,000 children are born each year with a cleft lip or cleft palate,
adding to an existing backlog of 1 million. The stigma attached to their deformity renders them unable to
live fulfilling lives. We mobilize medical volunteers from around the world to bring smiles and change
lives.Since Operation Smile India was registered as a Charitable Trust in 2003, our volunteers have
provided medical evaluations to more than 9,500 children and young adults and performed life-changing
surgery on more than 5,300 patients. Operation Smile has treated children and trained medical Rowena Rodrigues
