Humans no longer moved from place to place, and instead stayed and

projected their power in one area until all resources where exhausted.
This opened up new potential ways for different peoples to interact and
use the local landscape. With the opening up of new resources, human
population expanded and more complex examples of human cultural
and political development advanced. Additionally, this opened up the
possibility of separate classes. Whereas hunter-gatherers are noted for
their egalitarianism, stratified farming societies are noted for the
inequalities, which can be both a good and bad thing. On one hand, it
opens up the possibility of professionalizationon the other hand, the
opens up exploitation and the creation of a life not worth living, with
increasing specialization.
