Objectives

General Objectives

Our goal for this case study is to attain more information regarding our patients current
case and for us to be able to develop necessary skills for assessing and caring for a patient
with Guillain-Barre Syndrome

Specific Objectives

To organize our patients data to establish a good background information

and assessment
To be able to discuss the relationship of the chosen theoretical framework
related to the clients case
To be able to perform a thorough physical assessment on the patient using
cephalocaudal approach
Identify underlying causes and history of the current disease with regards to
the clients condition to provide proper care and to carry out the proper
interventions
Identify the systems involved together with the pathophysiology of the
disease
To render proper nursing intervention and attain goals set specifically for the
client through the right use of nursing process
