AUTHOR:

TITLE:
Some, One and None

TARGET AUDIENCE/DEMOGRAPHIC:
Teens/Young adults and up fans of pop culture and acting/creative games.

TARGET PLATFORM:
Cards

CONCEPT:
A charades-based game that mixes acting, Pictionary and Taboo.

PLAYER NUMBERS:
4 players and up

GAME FLOW:
Players go to two teams of equal number or if the player numbers are odd, as
equal as one can make it so long are teams are satisfied with the arrangement.
There are three rounds that both teams participate in leading to six rounds of
active gameplay.
Each team picks three players to go as ClueGiver each round.
The first round is called Some. The ClueGiver is supposed to pick a card from
the pile and give clues to the rest of the players in their team to guess the object
in the card. For this round, the ClueGiver can describe the object with no
restriction to word limit, besides outright saying the name of the object itself.
They also have the option of drawing on the board or paper. They can also act it
out.
The second round is called One. The only difference is that the word limit is
only one word. Again they cannot say the name of the object itself.
The third and last round is called None. The ClueGiver cannot say anything.
Incidental sounds are allowed.
It is the ClueGivers responsibility to hear out the answers their team is calling
out. The probable guesses have to match the exact name on the card in order for

it to count. The other team can look at the cards to make sure they are not
cheating.
Hyphenated words count as one word. (ex: cross-reference)
The ClueGiver can pass a card anytime into a discard pile.
The first round is 45 secs. The second round is 1 min. The third round is 1:15
min.
The first round is worth normal points (1x). The second round is worth 2x the
normal points. The third round is worth 3x the normal points.
