Any damaged, defective, or missing part must be replaced or repaired and retested. Items marked with an * havé additional instructions on the reverse side of this form. Tighten oF replace as needed 2 3+ Inspect fuel sediment bow for water or contaminants, Clean ifvequired, Clean sereen in fuel strainer, Replace fuel filters. Write date and hourmeter reading on new filters using indelible marker. “47 Replace ar filter element and clean canister. “Star engine and run for 10 minutes or unl engine is hot. Stop engine, (Carrer) Drain oil at discharge hose from engine. (Tate) Drain oil from engine and frame which must be tilted so that drain openings are atthe lowest point. Add oil to dipstick mark “Check battery and battery charger condition. Check case for eracks and damage. Clean terminal posts. Check for frayed battery cables, cracked wire insulation, and for clean and secure electrical connections. Clean or replace as ceded, Tighten all electrical connections including control box Replace all wom oll tings or hoses in the frame oil exchange system. Make sure all hoses are connected and properly secured, Inspect all fuel hoses for proper securement. Replace any hoses that are cracked, swelled or otherwise damaged. ‘Check Vent for proper operation Replace any coolant hoses that are bulged, cracked or otherwise defective. Tighten all wor clamps. Add coolant to radiator and overflow container if required or flush if required, Clean radistor coils with compressed air, if required ‘Check water pump bearing play. WARNING: SCALDING DANGER - DO NOT OPEN RADIATOR CAP WHEN ENGINE IS HOT. 10._ Make sure fan is not damaged or obsirucied. Tighten engine and generator mounting balls, 11, Close all oil drain plugs, install new oll filter and fill engine with oil to dipstick mark, Write dave / hourmeter reading on new filters using indelible marker. 12,_Add fuel to your region's requirements using #2 diesel fuel, Use fl diesel fuel only from October | through April | 13,__ Check fuel control solenoid for eracked mounts, eracked boot, and lubricate linkages. T4* Tair temperature is below 45 F, tes fuel heater with clamp on ampmeter, Reading should be approximately 11 amps. 15.__(120 GALLON CARRIER UNITS) MAKE CERTAIN THAT FUEL VALVE IS OPEN, 6. Tighten clamps or replace components as necessary. 22, Observe AMMETER to insure battery is being charged. Observe and record HOURMETER reading at top of form: 23,_ Turn power switch on diesel generator set and reefer unitto "OFF 24, Ensure modifications performed per procedures manual. Perform if required. 25, Install PM sticker filling in appropriate areas on sticker.
