4G Fun Facts:
Many Carriers like AT&T and Verizon say they have 4G capabilities when really they are still
using pre-4G networks
The new 4G networks being developed could be up to 10 times faster than 3G networks currently
in use.
The 4G network will be able to connect to other 3G networks, meaning that it will be backward
compatible.
LTE Fun Facts:
Speeds up to 100MB/sec in theory but in reality, speeds are only about 10-20 MB/sec.
LTE supports flexible carrier bandwidths, from 1.4MHz up to 20MHz. LTE also supports
frequency division duplexing (FDD) and time division duplexing (TDD).
In addition to LTE dongles and mobile phones, many computer and consumer electronic devices,
such as notebooks, ultra-portables, gaming devices and cameras, will incorporate embedded LTE
modules.

5G Fun Facts:
5G will be 1000x faster than 4G.
According to David Cameron, 5G will be so fast, users will be able to download an 800megabyte movie in only one second.
Samsung has claimed to have developed a technology that could one day sit at the core of the
5G standard. However, some experts were not convinced.
