There at good old Torres High ground
Down Tondo way.
How long ago was it when we were
There in our teens, time when Elvis
The Pelvis was king and the Platters
Swooning Twilight Time, more
Than fifty years I know and counting
More than fifty years ago, and so now you
All come back again, as happy Lolos and Lolas
And some still solteros and solteras in search
Of the good old yesterday.
