CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP LINEUP
Support for popular cycling event includes many notable companies and contributors
BUFFALO, NY Today the American Diabetes Association (ADA) announced its slate
of corporate sponsors for the Seneca Resorts & Casinos Tour de Cure, presented by
Independent Health. The popular cycling event and fundraiser will be held on Saturday,
June 6, 2015, beginning at Old Falls Street, in downtown Niagara Falls, New York.
Diabetes affects every community in Western New York, and is a particular concern to
Seneca Resorts & Casinos and the Seneca Nation of Indians. Having this event in downtown
Niagara Falls celebrates the role of the entire community in this important fight, said Cathy
Walker, president and CEO of Seneca Resorts & Casinos.
Independent Health is proud to be the presenting sponsor of the Tour de Cure for the
seventh consecutive year. Our partnership with the ADA demonstrates our commitment
to the community as we work toward our common goal to find a cure for diabetes, said
Michael W. Cropp, M.D., president and CEO of Independent Health and honorary chair
of the Tour de Cure.
In addition to title sponsor Seneca Resorts & Casinos and presenting sponsor Independent
Health, additional corporate supporters for the 2015 Tour de Cure include: Uncle Bobs

This years Tour de Cure has several new and exciting features, including the Niagara
Falls location and the addition of a 5K Walk/Run. We are grateful for both Seneca Resort
& Casinos and Independent Healths corporate support toward the fight against diabetes.
The WNY community recognizes the importance of the ADA mission and together we
will impact those people living every day with diabetes, said Alexandra Murello,

For this years Tour de Cure event, the ADA is also partnering with several local
bicycle shops and cycling organizations, such as: Berts Bikes & Fitness, Go Bike
Buffalo, and Toms Pro Bike.
The 2015 Tour de Cure will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2015, beginning at Old Falls
Street, Niagara Falls, NY. The Tour de Cure raises funds through registration fees and pledges
collected by the cyclists. To register, cyclists or volunteers can call the American Diabetes
