Dear Human Resource Department:

I would like to be considered for the Computer Systems Engineer II position posted on the Jet
Propulsion Laboratory website. In May of 2018, I will graduate from Alabama A&M University with a
Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering concentration.
While attending A&M University, I have worked part-time as a research assistant under Alabama A&M
and The Department of Homeland Security. During this time, I have acquired proper research
conducting skills.
Also while attending Alabama A&M, I have maintained a 4.0 Grade Point Average and currently a
involved on campus. I serve as the Public Relations assistant on the National Society of Black
Engineers Executive Board. I am also members of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers,
Computer Science Club, Queen to Queen Mentoring Program, Alabama A&M Bridge Organization, and
the Athletic Marketing Team.
I believe my education and work experience would allow me to contribute productively to your
