Description of how to implement in the class: The teacher will introduce the
activity by modeling how to say the name of a certain picture and then match the
picture with its beginning letter. (For an example a picture of a baby in one box and
then in another box there will be different letter choices. The student will say what
the picture is and then figure out what letter the picture starts with and match it with
the correct letter in the box.)
The teacher will teach the students how to apply phonics and demonstrate the
understanding of spoken words, sounds, and syllables. This will help them to begin
learning how to read and also recognize different words and pictures together. The
teacher can also challenge the students to come up with different words that begins
with a certain letter of his/her choosing.
Level of Technology Implementation (LoTi): This activity is at a 3. It addresses
applying which makes it a 3. In order for it to become a 4 the students will be
encouraged to be able to create their own activities and do them without the teacher
providing activities for them. This is a chance for them to be independent.

Description of
the sample BBPT file provided *: The picture displays that the students knew how
to match pictures with their correct beginning letter. The students discuss reading,
vocabulary, sounds, phonics, and the understanding of spoken word concepts.
Other comments about your proposed BBPT Activity: The KidSpiration activity
can easily be extended to support higher levels of thinking and higher LoTi levels.
This activity was at an introductory level. The teacher will be encouraged to help
students with word recognition and phonics.
