(ii)It is shaped like a biconcave disc and does not have a nucleus. This
provides a large surface area to volume ratio for the rapid diffusion of oxygen
across its plasma membrane.

Cell B extends its pseudopodia towards the pathogen to engulf it.
Ingestion of the bacterium
forms a phagosome.
The phagosome then combines with a lysosome which release lysozyme
into the phagosome to kill the pathogen.
Sel B memanjangkan pseudopodiumnya ke arah patogen untuk
menelannya. Pencernaan bakteria akan menghasilkan phagosom.
Phagosom kemudiannya terikat dengan lysosom yang mengeluarkan enzim
lysozyme untuk memusnahkan patogen.
