Arthritis UK: information, advice and details of the local friendship
groups. Find out how to access the hydrotherapy pool
Chester Independent Living: information on services, advice on benefits and personal health budgets
Stroke Association will check your blood pressure, provide advice and
information
Energy Plus will offer specific advice on household heating, insulation,
and help you switch suppliers (bring along your domestic energy bills)
Age UK will have sessions of seated exercises & exercises to music,
plus information and advice
Indian Head Massage by Leona Walker and Jean Hutfield
Podiatry/chiropody toenail clipping and advice on maintaining healthy
feet
Cheshire Fire Service will give advice & guidance on safety in the
home
Snow angels: information & advice about voluntary & support services
Deafness society advice on appliances and demonstrate different
hearing aids.
Alzheimers/Dementia groups with advice and guidance
Local Carers Association with advice and guidance of support for carers
Local GP practices with advice and information
Diabetes Society cooking demonstration and advice on healthy eating
and diabetes
