DAS PARK HOTEL

If we are talking about inusual places, we cant
forget to mention the Das Park Hotel, one of the
most original hotels Ive ever seen. If you spend
a night there, you will be sleeping in drain pipes.
This hotel is located in Germany, concretely in
the region of the North-Westfalia. Although at
the begining it may not seem appealing cause

its a reduced spaced, the external simplicity

surrounds an unexpectedly comfortable interior.

There are in total three pipes with a diameter inferior tan 2 metres and a length of 2,6
metres. Each tube weighs 9,5 tonnes. Once we see the rooms we realize the
experience doesnt have to be negative. The drain pipes give you enough space to be
able to stand up inside of them. They are thought for an individual use, but they can
also be used by two persons. The rooms are equipped with a double bed, storage,
light, power, a woolly blanket and a sleeping bag. All other hotelery devices such as
toilets, showers, minibar or cafe, are supplied by the surrounding public space. Also,
whenever you book a room you will have your personal code room to acces your suite.
Another interesting thing about this hotel is that they have a Pay as you wish method.
That means that a night in Das park hotel costs just as much as you can afford or want
to pay.The customers leave a Euro amount that they can afford and with which they
wish to support their project.
If you are up for a different experience this hotel might be a right choice for you,
although at the moment is only opened from May to October.
