What religious tensions existed in Yugoslavia pre-and during World War II?

The different religions of Roman Catholic, Orthodox Catholic, and Muslim all had
different beliefs and cultures and the clashed as they were forced to come together.
Why was Tito important in Yugoslavia?
Tito was important because he was Yugoslavia's communist president.
What were Milosevics goals in Yugoslavia?
His goal was to maintain Serb nationalism between the groups but the other
opposed his policies and fled the country.
Who did Serbian nationalists target in the Bosnian genocide?
The Serbian nationalist targeted the 2 republics Slovenia and Croatia they fought
with them until they had declared independence.
What happened in Srebrenica?
Serb troops and paramilitaries led by Ratko Mladic descended on Srebrenica and
began shelling it. Now they were besieging Srebrenica's thousands of Muslim
civilians. Food supplies and water began to dwindle, buildings were damaged, and
people were injured. Soon Serb troops were able to take up positions close the
town's outskirts.
What does this incident suggestion about European leadership and the role of the
UN?
It makes you ask the question of what does it take for them to step in and are we
really in this for them to help us and when is someone going to step up.

The United States and Bill Clinton was responsible for the peace because the
negotiation was held in Dayton, Ohio.

Ethnic cleansing is getting rid of a certain group in an area.

Parts of Bosnia became independent and it is now seen my barriers.
Describe 2 problems Bosnia is facing today.
One problem that Bosnia is facing is the issue of military invention to stop war. This
means that genocide is planted all over the world. Another problem is that the
government isnt really stable there and there is too many cases when one wants to
be powerful than the other.
