How do we form the Simple Present?

We use the infinitive of the verb. In the 3rd person singular (he, she, it - or a name) we
put an -s to the end of the infinitive.

I play football.

You play football.

He plays football.

She plays football.

It plays football.

We play football.

You play football.

They play football.

We use the auxiliary do/does.
I do not play football.
