I think that knowing only one of these three secrets is helpful to

improve my language learning process, the secret about linking the words.
First, as Judy Thompson said English is a very exclusive language, that is
why some groups have certain words constantly repeated and when you are
talking it is better if the words of the phrase are linked it together because it
helps you to recognize and understand faster what other people is saying.
Second, English is a stress-based language and is easy for me to recognize
it but hard when I am speaking. Linking words is a useful tool to say
correctly the stressed words on a phrase without thinking if I am doing it
right or wrong. Third, as a Spanish native speaker, collocations are not easy
at all, here one word could be used for many things, in English is necessary
to differentiate when you use have/do/make or pay/save/keep, when you
link the word you said the verb first and then the subject and probably other
people could is able to understand what I am trying to say. In conclusion
linking the words could hide some failures and may improve them with the
time.
