Lettuce Entertain You, Enterprises, Inc. opens

Esperanza, May 23rd
Wicker Park anticipates a new organic Mexican restaurant
CHICAGO- May 23,2014- Lettuce Entertain You, Chef/Partners Nick Wolff, Justine Jimenez, and Rico
Warner alongside executive partners Giuliana and Bill Rancic, are eager to open Esperanza at 1234 W.
North Ave in Chicagos trendy neighborhood, Wicker Park. The name Esperanza comes from the
Spanish language, translating to English as hope. Part owner Justine Jimenez explains, Hope for us is
the expression of our commitment to health and sustainability, with love and inspiration of multiculturalism
and the world around us.
Esperanza is open for lunch, and dinner. The all-organic dishes offer a wide variety of options, including:
tamales, tacos, empanadas, and flan. In addition, the bar features organic tequilas and mezcal. We are
inspired by the food that we grew up on. Executive Chef, Diego Torress states. Instead of making food
with chemicals, we make our food with passion.
Menu favorites include quesadillas de camote, finished with caramelized onions, sweet potatoes, meat of
choice, all wrapped in-house made tortillas. Note other healthy menu alternatives including vegan and
gluten free choices.
Esperanzas guests enter the serene oasis with a well-balanced mixed decor of urban, modern, and tropical.
With big lofty windows, brick walls, Spanish tiles and a neutral monochromatic color pallet, featuring earth
tones, with a pop of agave green. It offers a light and airy atmosphere leaving the guests refreshed.
Esperanza opens Friday May 23rd at 2 p.m.
