INTRODUCTION

For years their dream would come unexpectedly challenges. Trials to learn, make assignments,
hassle friends and lecturers, participation in programs of universities and colleges have often
color the life of the university. After the graduates had a title, a question-hovering hovering in the
mind. What direction is obtained after the degree? Every year and every time a student
graduating sure that there will be questions to which the direction of the student after holding a
degree.
The question is what is always facing the existing students and prospective students to try to
avoid this issue that is negative towards the direction that does not end. Although that, an
initiative to be considered together to assess the ability of graduates to setting themselves a
desired direction over the years. Heard often unemployed graduates issues such as no solution of
this problem. Efforts of the government and other parties in addressing the problem of
unemployed graduates is not just a promise but a study of unemployment as well go back to the
students themselves as the cause.
What is important is the extent to which future graduates who are now prepared to manipulate all
aspects of the university and also take advantage of these issues towards the development of self
as a student who has a high intellect. This question focuses on the direction of other students
after graduating questions that arise about the relevance of study programs contact with the
working world. In addition, the personality of students identified as referring to the soft skills in
various fields.
What can be said that generally the students are often stated as the direction of the student after
becoming a graduate is to put yourself in the working environment. However, that is the
challenge facing the challenge in line after graduating is very tough if important aspects of the

to the diversity of natural areas and types of jobs that allow students prepare in advance. Just soft
skills are applied in previous studies, while soft skills indirectly as a supply as a competent
student and but the approach to focus more on these soft skills so as not to be ignored by
students.

students. Each student has their own soft skills but it also should be highlighted in the university
to facilitate the evaluation and familiarization primarily involves the area of communication.
Thus, as students who feel that they need to take up the challenge after becoming a graduate is
the time to get ready. Most important is the way forward as a student will end up with such a
dream, especially self-employed who make students happy and not sad to wait for work calls.
The students themselves have provided a natural skill and it should be sharpened for use in the
interests of themselves and others. What is important to all these questions not only cooperation
but also students and the university students' self-awareness in the most important to achieve the
objective of self to the success of self, family, the university and the country. Discussion on these

DISCUSSION
Soft Skills are hot issues discussed at the institution. This is because many employers produce
problems in the recruitment of graduates to work. They said not to be performed tasks and duties
according to job specifications. This arises because they lack of additional skills they are
supposed to have before they received employed by any employer. Lack of skills such as

communication skills, teamwork skills and problem solving skills resulted in many assigned
tasks cannot be implemented properly.
Soft skills can be mastered by students in several ways. Generally, there are two ways that enable
students to dominate Soft Skills, namely through direct learning and indirect learning. Learning
means that students apply directly to the Generic Skills in their syllabus at the university, while
indirect learning can be understood with the mastery of skills through activities outside the
classroom. They can master it by doing extra-curricular activities and so as to venture,
association, doing a task in groups and others. Completed their studies at university, they will
have these skills.
