From the references being received in this regard, there appears to be a considerable confusion among the pensioners in regard to the implication of the above mentioned Corrigendury. As the CPAQ is aware, the provision in para 4.2 of this Department's O.M. No. 38/36/08-P&PW(A) dated 1.9.2008 was clarified - vide this Department's OMs No. 38/36/08-P&PW(A) pt. | dated 3.10.2008, 14.10.2008 and 11.2.2009 (all available on the website of Department ie. http://pensionersportal.gov.in). In order to clear the doubts in this respect, the CPAO is requested to issue a clarification to Banksipensioners that CPAOs D.O. lettér-No. CPAO/Tech/6"CPC/2009- 10/1265 dated 26.9.2008 and Corrigendum No. CPAO/Tech/6" CPC/2009-10/478 dated 24.11.2009 should be read with the clarifications issued by Department of Pension & PW vide OMs No. 38/36/08-P&PW(A) pt. | dated 3.10.2008, 14.10.2008 and 11.2.2009.
