Ministry of Public Health, Romania

The Ministry of Public Health has been the main partner in the development and
implementation of the RoNeoant project. It has developed the regulatory framework
within which RoNeonat operates. Furthermore it supported the implementation process
and funded part of the infrastructural rehabilitation and training components.

Institute of Mother and Child Health, Romania

The Institute of MCH contributed to RoNeonat through the input of its specialists to the
health promotion campaign and the development of guidelines. The Institute also forms
one of the seven specialised regional centres for project implementation.

National Insurance House Romania

The National Insurance House has collaborated in the development of policies and
regulations.

Romanian College of Physicians

The Romanian College of Physicians contributed to the development of the guidelines

and endorsed the final versions.
National Centre for Continuous Education in Health Sector

The National Centre for Continuous Education in the Health Sector collaborated in
accrediting the medical courses organised by RoNeonat.

Center for Health Policies and Services (CHPS)

CHPS is the implementing agency of another SDC funded project in Romania: Remssy
(Romanian Emergency System). Its also been a partner to CRED, providing
consultancy services

Nurses and Midwives Order

The Nurses and Midwives Order collaborated in accrediting the medical courses
organised by RoNeonat.

Romanian Professional Associations of Obstetrics, Neonatology and infant

surgery

The Professional Associates developed and are responsible for the technical content of
the guidelines.

Biomedical engineering Faculty of Medical University of Iasi

Biomedical engineering Faculty of Medical University of Iasi has been involved in the
development and implementation of the health technology management component.

TOTEM Communication

Totem is the implementing communication agency for the health promotion campaigns.
