With obsessions becoming such common culture, theres been an increase of TV shows on the topic since 2013 with Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners showing the clear popularity in contemporary culture with a 7/10 rating. Obsessions have become 6.5% more commonly heard of since 2010 with many linking to the creation of the boy band One Direction, with 75% of people voting them as the best boy band ever in a recent poll. Music in general is a vastly popular obsession, only being beaten by mobile phones with 56% of people claiming they couldnt go more than two hours without their mobile.
