Project Overview

The media center wishes to:


support students information literacy skills
increase access to computers and online resources

How?
By obtaining a mobile class set of 30 Microsoft

Surface Pro 3 tablets with accessories

Why?
there are not enough computers available for a

whole class of students in the library media center


those that are available outside of the library are
outdated or broken

Project Goals

The library would like to:


Support teachers and students in acquiring

Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills


Teach information literacy and research
skills
Give students access to online databases
Allow students the ability to read books
online
Encourage creativity
Encourage engagement and excitement

Missing keys and mouse parts
Do not hold a charge
Outdated
One 2 year old cart with 30 tablets
Purchased solely for another math program for 4 th and 5th grade
Three outdated computers in library
