SUMMARY
Early clinical studies showed that high-dosevitamin
C, given by intravenous and oral routes, may improve
symptoms and prolong life in patients with
terminalcancer.
Vitamin Cis toxic to somecancercells but not to
normal cells in vitro, where patients had
unexpectedly long survival times after receiving
high-dose intravenousvitamin Ctherapy.
The role of high-dose intravenousvitamin Ctherapy
incancer treatmentshould be reassessed.

SOMETHING THAT I GET FROM

THIS JOURNAL
Intravenous

administration of the
maximum tolerated dose ofvitamin
Cproduces plasma levels 25 times
that achieved when the same dose
is administered orally. At high
plasma concentrationsvitamin Cis
toxic to somecancercells but not to
normal cells in vitro.

There were 3 researches to 3 different

patient that advanced cancerwhere
patients had unexpectedly long survival
times
after
receiving
high-dose
intravenousvitamin C therapy. It can
prove that vitamin C in high dose can
be
anti-tumour
effects
in
certaincancers.
