sworn in as the 34th Chief Minister of Bihar.

succeeded Jitan Ram Manjhi, who resigned from
his office on 20 February 2015 before the trust
vote. Nitish Kumar resigned from his office on 17
May 2014 after his party performed poorly in the
2014 Lok Sabha elections.
4. Eminent scientist Tapan Misra was appointed as
the Chief of ISROs Space Applications Centre (SAC)
at Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
5. Arvind Kejriwal was sworn-in as Chief Minister of
Delhi. The oath of office and secrecy was
administered by Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung
at Ramlila Ground, Delhi.
