    Introduction:
    Thepurposeofthisdocumentistoestablishguidelines
    fortheacceptableuseofdevicesandrelatedtechnologyinmy
    classroom.Allstudentswillbeexpectedtounderstandandfollowthe
    procedureswhenusingdevicesintheclassroom.
    AcceptableUses:
    Technologywithintheschoolsettingismeantto
    furtherlearningandprovideadditionaleducationalopportunitiesfor
    students.Toprotectagainstthepossibilityofmisuse,devicesinthe
    classroomshouldbelimitedtoteacher-definededucationalpurposes
    unlessdirectpermissiontousethedevicesforotherpurposesis
    obtainedfromtheteacher.
    UnacceptableUses:
    Thefollowingusesoftheclassroomtechnology
    arenotacceptableandwillresultindisciplinaryaction.
    Usingadevicewithoutsupervisionorpermissionfromateacher.
    Sendingthreateningmessages,emails,oranyuseoftechnology
    tointimidateothers.
    Theintentionalspreadingofviruses.
    Downloading,uploading,ordistributinganyfiles,software,or
    othermaterialofanysortunlessdirectlyauthorizedbythe
    teacher.
    Downloadingorsharingfilesinaninappropriatemanner.
    Usingprotectedmaterialsfoundonthecomputerwithoutproper
    citation(plagiarism).
    Usinganotherpersonsinformation(i.e.emailaddress,passwords)on
    adevicewithoutthepermissionoftheindividualandtheteacher.
