Last evening , Kelvins parents took him and his younger brother to a magic show . It
was to celebrate Kelvins eleventh birthday . The ticket price was RM20 for an adult and
RM10 for a child below twelve .
When they entered the hall , they saw many dining tables arranged neatly in front
of the stage . Kelvins family shared their table with another family of six . The show
began as the waiters served meals to every table .
For the first trick , the magician pulled out a dove , a bunny and a kitten out of his
empty hat . Then , he performed some cardtricks with a little helpfrom the audience . He
also turned a statue of a tiger in to a real one !
The most amazing trick was when the magician had to escape from a sack which
was hung upside down at the end of a rope .The rope was being burnt by a candle . The
audience gasped when the sack fell after the flame has burnt through the rope . Everyone
clapped loudly when they saw the magician appearing from the backstage , unharmed .
Everyone including Kelvin enjoyed themselves at the show that night .
