    CHAPTER 3

    METHODOLOGY
    This chapter presents the software methodology applied in the development of Pawn
    Alert. The researchers will be using researchers-made instruments in gathering data to evaluate
    the manual process in finding a school.
    Software Engineering Methodology

    In the systems development process of this study, Agile development methodology will
    be applied as shown Figure 2. Agile software development is a method in which requirements and
    solutions evolve through collaboration between self-organizing and cross-functional teams. It
    promotes continuous improvement, encourages rapid and flexible response to change. This
    software development is a tedious task not only for programmer but also for the system analysts,
    because they will decide the creativeness of the system. At this juncture, the methods being used
    in implementing the application must be explained and determined.
