Egypt has amazing history and part of its history is the pyramids.

There
are many pyramids in Egypt, but so far only 138 have been discovered. The ones
that were found the earliest were the pyramids located at Saqqara northwest of
Memphis and the earliest from them was the pyramid of Djoser. The pyramid of
Djoser was built during third dynasty and it was designed by architect Imhotep.
It was also known as the step pyramid. Nearly hundred, thousand workers built
the pyramids found at Saqqara. The most famous pyramids are found at Giza.
They are also the largest. A famous pharaoh named Khufu has his pyramid built
at Giza and it is the largest pyramid in the world. It is also known as the Great
pyramid. There are also pyramids found at places like Lahun and Dahshur. The
pyramid found in Lahun is called the Senusret pyramid. There are two pyramids
found in Dahshur, the Red and Bent pyramid of king Sneferu. Also located in
Dahshur is the Black pyramid of king Amenemhat. Those are some facts about
the history of the pyramids.
