The West Maui Taxpayers Association is pleased to announce
"Candidates Night 2012. See pertinent information below.
The WMTA Candidates Night is the only forum of its kind in West Maui.
The tradition for the WMTA Candidates Night is to invite all candidates appearing on the West Maui ballot
and providing an opportunity for each candidate to give an introductory statement followed by preselected questions in a debate format from the WMTA moderator. If only one candidate is present, or the
office is not contested, the candidate will have an opportunity to provide a short statement about their
mission and goals.
The event will be aired LIVE on AKAKU Community TV and videotaped for subsequent re-broadcasting.
