How can you muster the courage to fly?

Try everything you deem high

Will you smile when you reach the sky?
Try everything you deem high

You fancy writing?

Tapping your keyboard
To craft your worth with word
Publish your piece with proud breast
Observe around and read,
No, no sign of bliss,
Then spit upon the work you thought was your best
Bludgeon your useless head,
Drink your piss,
And curse the peace
You put music on the pedestal?
Singing out your heart
Through the melody of hurt,
And exaggerated suffering,
As you bleed your fingers down the strings
Aha,
Please, notice,
Caught their sneer, and the rolling eyes,
As they turn their back on you
And shove the corks down their ears
Give it up, let it all fall, dear

Try everything you deem high

Fail at every attempt and cry
Obsess over them till your soul gets dry
Then, fail, fail, fail at every attempt and cry

Drawing and painting delights you?

Sketching out rough shapes

Oh, you let your colors drip

Getting some frames for your wrecks, are you?
But also, please, do prepare for shames
As you read their venomous lips,
spitting flames
HA!
It ignites the oil
And you smell the boil
But you, secretly cherish the turmoil
While you watch your dream snatched by the smoke,
Up towards the sky with its condescending rainbow grin,
You melted away, in choke and gin.
The God excites you?
Pray and pray and pray
99 times a day no play
But you feel only something is true
After you think it through
Glue your eyeball to the ancient scriptures
Storm your brain with unanswerable questions
Taint your soul with inevitable doom
And weep,
as you diverge from your faith
Then you wallowed in the mud
because you choose exile, over mechanical smile

Fail at every attempt and cry

Let them die
Wail at every failure you deny
Let them die

You wish to experience romance?

It doesn't need to be grand or elegant
But at least has the depth to let your soul dance
And equal respect for each owner of the mind
Yet you feel anxiety in advance

Since she put you in a trance

And you're caged by distance
It eventually lost and what remains
is grievance

I ask myself

How can you muster the courage to fly?

Try everything you deem high
Fail at every attempt and cry
Let them die
As you mumble why?
Why?
Why?

But even if you finally have the courage,

Will you leave?
Or Will you choose to age and enjoy the damage?
Either way, it's your passage
