A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

Military Spending Limitation Act
13PURPOSE
14 For the purpose of limiting the amount of taxes used for the military or any
15military related cause.
16PREAMBLE
17WHEREAS the United States of America spends over 700 billon on its military annually;
18and,
19WHEREAS the next biggest military spender only spends 140 billon on its military
20annually; and,
21WHEREAS 22% of the Federal budget is devoted to military; and,
22WHEREAS the majority, or 37% of American Tax money allocated for the military; and,
23WHEREAS the United States are responsible for 41% of the world military spending;
24and,
25THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS of THE UNITED STATES of
26AMERICA that the amount of taxes assigned for the use of the military is limited.

28Section 1 - ENACTMENT CLAUSE

A. Starting in the beginning of fiscal year of 2016 the amount of taxes allotted for

military use shall be decreased by 2%. The 2% decrease in the amount of taxes

31

allotted for the military use shall continue at the start of each fiscal year until the

32

percent of taxes allotted for military uses reaches 25%.

B. When the percent of taxes allotted for military uses reaches 25% it shall be the
cap for the percentage of taxes assigned for the military.
C. This cap is considered void if the country is considered to be in a state of

emergency and the cap needs to be raised. At this time all enactments of this bill

37

are null. Once the state of emergency is lifted, this bill shall be reinstated.

D. As used in this act

Military means any aspect of government that deals with defense.

State of Emergency means a situation in which the government suspends

41

constitutional regulations in order to gain control.

42Section 2 - ENFORCEMENT
43The governmental department responsible for the correct execution of this bill will be the
44U.S. Department of Treasury. The U.S. Department of Treasury shall monitor the amount
45of taxes allocated for the military on Monday every 2 weeks. If the amount of taxes
46allotted for the military exceeds the cap, then the Treasury shall immediately cut or
47redirect the amount of taxes allocated for the military until the cap is satisfied.
48Section 3 - CLOSING SECTION
49In the event that this bill is passed its procedures shall take place in the beginning of the
502016 fiscal year.
51SECTION 4. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
